With Sri Lanka bowing out of the 2010 ICC World Twenty20, all eyes now rest on Pakistan who need to stop the seemingly “invincible” Australians (as Shaun Tait describes the team) in order to keep the Asian representation going into the final.
Australia may be priding themselves on their stupendous pace attack and being virtually able to steam roll opponents, but Pakistan need to wake up on their consistent side, combat the Australian spin with their flair in batting and then, turn the spin to their advantage.
It will be easier said than done because Australia have displayed the bounce back ability, something Pakistan would want to show should the Australian bowling put pressure on the top order. Pakistan need to pull out the aces!
