The movers and shakers in the BCCI central contracts were rather predictable, even for Yuvraj Singh.

Having fallen out of favour of the bosses in the business over form, fitness and other issues, Yuvraj Singh has dropped down the list from Grade A to Grade B, unfortunately at a time when the BCCI has decided to make crorepatis out of the Indian cricketers.

Suresh Raina‘s elevation came as no surprise as did Rohit Sharma who falls down even further from the bar, a far cry from the days when he was expected to naturally make the Indian line up with the old gold reitred.

Here are the new retainer rates and Grades and the twenty-four players that make the line up. It has to be said lucky 24 given that the BCCI has virtually halved its previous list while eliminating Grade D altogether.
