Brett Lee says he is ready to take on the world and represent Australia at the 2010 ICC World Twenty20, broken thumb or not.
The Australian fast bowler has declared that his doctor has given him the go ahead and participate in the premier ICC event despite minor pain in the thumb.
Ruling out the pain, Lee said he was used to playing with pain all of his career and the thumb would not hinder his campaign for Australia.
Lee suffered the injury while returning to India to play the IPL 3 for the Kings XI Punjab after recuperating from an elbow surgery. Injuries have kept him company and he will hope the Caribbean affair will pass out without incident of the medical kind.
