All eyes will be on Stuart Broad when England embark on their Ashes down under against Australia. However, Broad has eyes only for England and that too at the top.
The fast bowler-all rounder is known to be controversial for his antics on the field. But he is serious about where he would like to see England, in his words, as the best team in the world.
Broad is also of the belief that defeating Australia in Australia, which would entail that England retain the Ashes from their success in 2009, would merely be another rung on the ladder on their way to the top. He is certainly hoping that England cricket achieves status in world cricket as la Manchester United in the English Premier League ( EPL ).
Broad’s ambitions could well come true as England sense a real opportunity this time round with Australia beaten by India in the recently concluded series and England looked the more settled of the two teams in terms of line ups and recent performances.
