It is ironic that a revenge match between two Australian Twenty20 teams is being played in Delhi of all places in the Champions League Twenty20 semi final one.
It would not be the ideal line up as far as Indian fans were concerned. But the two Australian teams, New South Wales Blues and the Victoria Bushrangers, meeting in the semi final perhaps leaves something open for the final which will now feature only one Australian Twenty20 team.
For the NSW Blues team, it is an opportunity to clash again with the opponents in Twenty20 Big Bash back home. Victoria Bushrangers captain, Cameron White, did not hide the fact that chasing would be a tough proposition on the turbulent pitch in Delhi that has seen teams crumble. Simon Katich, captain of the NSW Blues team, then must ensure that his team make the most of the opportunity to bat first after having won the toss.
