England Recall Sidebottom, Draft Jonathan Trott as Flintoff’s Cover

In a clear indication that England may be anticipating trouble for Andrew Flintoff’s presence at the fourth Test of the Ashes at Headingley, England have added two more players to their summer Ashes squad while Australia wait on Brett Lee.
Andrew Strauss, the England captain, has dismissed Ricky Ponting, the Australian captain’s thoughts that Flintoff appeared in no condition for the fourth Test beginning Friday. Strauss stated that it was only soreness and no additional deterioration in Flintoff’s condition to warrant unnecessary apprehensions.
However, England have brought in Warwickshire batsman, Jonathan Trott as a clear sign that they would like to have the cover by way of a batsman should Flintoff not make it. Also in the scheme of things, appears the man of comebacks, Ryan Sidebottom, who may well be drafted in for the fourth Test if swing is the way for England to go as they press for an Ashes series win.
Meanwhile, Lee is expected to take his place in the Australian eleven but his fitness is yet to be confirmed. It will be interesting if he is fit, who will make room for him.
