The 2010 Hockey World Cup will see India and Pakistan going head to head. While the Pakistan players are seeking inspiration from Sachin Tendulkar, Tendulkar himself sent best wishes for the Indian hockey team.

The Indian hockey captain, Rajpal Singh, will lead the team onto the field in the two team's opening match in New Delhi. But Zeeshan Ashraf, the Pakistan hockey captain, and his team are seeking inspiration from the man who made his ODI double century in the second ODI of the India South Africa series in Gwalior at the Captain Roop Singh Stadium.
Tendulkar sent his best wishes to the Indian hockey team. But members of the Pakistan team spoke about how Tendulkar was a huge icon, even in Pakistan, and how his every achievement was a reason for inspiration. Some of them even hoped to meet Tendulkar.
While some are stating that Pakistan will want to beat India after the Pakistan cricketers were snubbed in the IPL 3 auctions for varied reasons, every Indo Pak match is likely to be a high tension affair which is why the Indian coach Brasa is urging his team to stay calm.
