Pakistan had it virtually sealed. Yet it took some enormous hitting from Michael Hussey, three sixes and a four to precise, from the final over for Australia to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in the second semi final of the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 at the Beausejour Stadium, St. Lucia.

Australia always looked behind target. With Pakistan snaring both, David Warner and Shane Watson who was threatening to cut loose, Pakistan were making inroads. With Australia four wickets down, out came their messiahs.
Cameron White and Michael Hussey have bailed Australia twice in this tournament, against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, but perhaps nothing will be more memorable than this one. White gave Australia a fighting chance, thundering five massive sixes to good effect, in his cameo knock of forty-three from thirty-one balls after Mohammad Aamer was making crucial inroads and Abdur Rehman bowling his spin to the captain's taste for the most part.
But given the fact that Australia were chasing 192 for a place in the final, the task was still difficult with Australia needing thirty-five runs in thirteen balls and eighteen runs from the final six balls. Bowling teams would back themselves and the Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, backed his spinner, Saeed Ajmal. The only flaw was that he followed Mitchell Johnson, trying to york and let him take a single inadvertently.
With Michael Hussey on strike, it still seemed impossible. But then, Hussey slapped the first two balls he faced in the over for consecutive sixes. With Australia needing just six more, Hussey was taking no chances. Another four past the backward point fielder followed up by the winning six, Hussey's score - sixty runs off just twenty-four balls with six sixes!
This match will take some time to sink in, for everyone, no exception!
