West Indies selectors have chosen Marlon Samuels as a specialist right hand batsman ignoring captain Brian Lara’s demand for a genuine fast bowler in the 3rd Test against India starting on June 22 in St. Kitts.
The selection panel for the 3rd test retained the same medium-pacers - Ian Bradshaw, Jerome Taylor, Dwayne Bravo, Corey Collymore and Pedro Collins while left-arm spinner Dave Mohammed (who played in the first Test) has been axed.
What remains to be seen is whether the quintet of medium-pacers who failed to impress Indian batsmen in the first two Tests can bother them in the upcoming one in what appears to be yet another batting paradise.

3rd Test: No fast bowlers for Lara

Comments
I think the selectors are justified in decision. At moment pitch is not offering any juice to fast bolowers. Adding one more quicky in these circumstance definately not going to help windies.
A genuine fast bowler in the 4th Test would have put India to the sword.
