The relinquishing tendency of Australian cricket veteran players is on with Australian opener Justin Langer's announcement of quitting the International cricket after the fifth Ashes Test in Sydney. He is the third in the row to preannounce the departure from international cricket after Shane Warn and G. McGrath.

However, Australia has already received a sudden sign-off of and announcement of D. Martin after II Ashes test against England.

Talking to media person he said that it had been a tough decision for him to take. He further added that he had a great time playing with contemporary teammates like WC Gilchrist, Captain Ricky Ponting and all-rounder Matthew Hayden. Langer made his Test debut in 1993 against West Indies in Adelaide.
