Not backing down from the controversy over the IPL 3 auctions and the repercussions, the Shiv Sena outfit has levelled some serious taunts against the co owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders and Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan.

SRK was the target of the barbs of the Shiv Sena leader, Bal Thackeray, who added more salt to his previously inflicted wounds. He stated that for simply supporting the cause of the Pakistan cricketers who were ignored at the auctions, Shah Rukh Khan was worthy of Pakistan's highest honour, Nishaan-E-Pakistan.
Thackeray also spit venom on the fact that SRK was a Muslim, stating that he would be better off migrating to Lahore or Islamabad and also, that the Hindus must retaliate against the Khans (Muslims) with slogans of Har Har Mahadev in praise of Lord Shiva.
A day after attacking the posters of SRK's latest movie "My Name is Khan", Thackeray stated that SRK had levied insult on the victims of the 26/11 (2008) attacks on Mumbai and stated that SRK should make Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, the terrorist caught live from that attacks, as the KKR captain and Mohammad Afzal Guru (who led the attack on the Indian Parliament) as the KKR vice captain.
He also stated that Amitabh Bachchan, who ironically was against the treatment meted to the Pakistan cricketers, was an example to emulate after having turned down an award from the Brisbane University.
Perhaps the publicity from attacking Sachin Tendulkar was incentive enough to train their eyes on other visible targets.
