Former Pakistan captain, Wasim Akram, is about to revel in a new role, one that pays him well as well.

Akram, who is now seen more in the commentary box, has been signed on as a coach with the DDCA(Delhi District Cricket Association). In his role, he will be paid Rs.75000 per day of his consultation. The one that won him the nod – South Africa’s Jonty Rhodes demanded Rs. One lakh a month which was promptly denied.
Not all Indo Pakistan relations need thawing.
Akram believes BCCI are doing the wrong thing by not including Pakistan in its Future Tours Programme, stating that the BCCI should be more aware of neighbourly deeds.
