Amitabh Bachchan strikes quite the pose walking the ramp with fellow Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan. And it appears that Big B will be doing more extraordinary entertainment work if he does indeed host the 2011 IPL 4 opening ceremony.

That is one of the proposal in front of the BCCI as the IPL 4 is set to kick off on the 8th of April, 2011 at the Chepauk stadium in Chennai, home to the victories Chennai Super Kings who won the IPL 3 as well as the Champions League Twenty20 2011.
The proposal by the entertainment company that proposed the idea has also intentions of getting another popular and respected actor, Aamir Khan, into the plans to co host the event with Bachchan senior.
The idea of mixing Bollywood with Twenty20 cricket is not new and neither is the plan of making actors integral to the entertainment factor of the Indian Premier League. In fact, Bollywood actors have often doubled up as brand ambassadors for the various teams in the tournament, including Katrina Kaif for the Royal Challengers Bangalore ( although Deepika Padukone is as good as one given that she is seen in the company of Siddharth Mallya ), Akshay Kumar for the Delhi Daredevils and Shah Rukh Khan himself the flag bearer for the Kolkata Knight Riders as the owner of the team along with Juhi Chawla while Preity Zinta is in a similar role with the Kings XI Punjab.
