Andrew Symonds Moans Lack of 'Real' Characters, Stays Away About Status with Clarke

Andrew Symonds, who fell out with his team mates and the Australian cricket board, believes Australian cricketers are not being 'honest'.

The aggressive all rounder suffered a complicated end to his cricket career on the international front representing Australia, but internationally he continues to be the most viable player for Twenty20 leagues.

But Symonds feels that there is a lack of genuine characters in the Australian dressing room with the marketing men dictating terms and the cautious Australian cricketers watching their words and their ways (though the West Indies captain, Chris Gayle, may disagree after the third Test in Perth). Symonds feels that players are losing their sense of simply being honest and true to themselves in the process.

One man he is hinting at is none other than the Australian vice captain, Michael Clarke, who was at one time reportedly Symonds' dearest friend in the dressing room. But all that changed after Symonds was disciplined and Symonds has chosen to distance himself from the one time friend, stating he did not know him too well anyway.

Symonds has been called to the Queensland Bulls for the Big Bash Twenty20 and he will no doubt come face to face to with some of the cricketers he has levelled these allegations against.
