Perhaps Shahid Afridi did not feel that he gave as many bytes as he bit off more of the cricket ball as well as of the game.

The Pakistan all rounder, also the Pakistan Twenty20 captain, perhaps does not realize the full extent of his fall from grace.
After trying to explain away his ball tampering attempts, biting the ball during the fifth ODI against Australia in Perth, Afridi has not stopped digging his own grave. He now wants ball tampering to be legalized and perhaps his words would be more appropriate since he is not shy of continuing to blunder his ways through such a serious contention.
Afridi has added to his previous comments since the ball tampering incident came to light, "The game and its rules are changing. You should be allowed to tamper with the ball after the 30th or 40th over. Only a few get to do some bit of ball tampering. If the weather is dry and hot then you can get some help from the pitch while bowling. But you also have to help the ball yourself."
He further appeals the case of the bowlers and of bowling in the sub continent, "You have to tamper with the ball to make it swing on subcontinental pitches. "It spells death for bowlers if you don't tamper with the ball. You can get some help from the pitch but even then you have to 'make' the ball."
And then he is myopic to believe he will be forgiven in a hurry. It is time someone sits him down and 'makes' him see the reality and gravity of the situation. Better yet, shut him up.
