Two men who were not in the midst of the Pakistan Australia series have very different views of where their respective career is heading. Even as Brett Lee's injury is forcing him to rethink his career, Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar is still dreaming of one day becoming Pakistan's captain.

The Australian fast bowler appears to have doubts over recovery from his elbow surgery, with pain and the extent of his agony making him doubt whether he will take the cricket field again.
However, two years of not having played a Test match for Pakistan has not stopped Akhtar from aspiring to one lead the team. Questions over his fitness were raised with a former captain unhappy with what he saw.
