Ashes T 5: Lily Allen Steals a Bit of England Attention

British pop singer, Lily Allen, certainly created a stir with her presence on all three days of the third Test at the Oval thus far.

Allen even made it to the 'Test Match Special' commentary box of the BCC television network, the same channel she was tuned into as Shane Warne tried to get her attention.

Earlier Hollywood actor, Russel Crowe, grabbed the limelight with his stint in the commentary box on Sky Sports where he stated his sharp state of the game, his penchant for watching Test cricket and his keen observations of what was wrong with the Australian team.

Allen, present with her current boyfriend, Sam Cooper, created controversy when she turned up ont he second day with a near see through pink T-shirt.

And she had fun of her own. On Twitter, she posted of her presence at the ground as "a perfect way to spend a rare day off."

She also had some ribbing to do against Paul Collingwood with a few unkind remarks of her thoughts on his batting, "Collingwood is dull. He'll probably still be batting when I'm back here at the Oval on Saturday, having scored no runs."

She was also needling her boyfriend with her list of England cricketers she would spend her time with. It was clear Steve Harmison was not on the list but Andrew Flintoff was.

Her latest fetish though, quite obviously, is Stuart Broad of whom she posted on Twitter, "Stuart Broad is fast becoming my favourite England cricketer. OMG. Broad is a genius. And he doesn't have a beer gut."
