The Asia Cup will see doping tests becoming effective right through the tournament as per the ACC's new rules.

The Asian Cricket Council, in keeping with the International Cricket Council ( ICC ), has decided and informed all the four participating teams - India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh - in the 2010 Asia Cup set to take off in Sri Lanka that all players will be forced to undergo drug testing at the end of every match during the tournament in a bid to ensure that cricket remains free of performance enhancing drugs.
The BCCI is still locked in battle with the ICC over WADA after the Indian cricketers expressed concern against the whereabouts clause.
