The taints of match fixing do not seem to be bothering another Pakistan fast bowler who is planning his wedding celebrations even as his younger fast bowler compatriot, Mohammad Aamir, is apparently confessing.

Although Asif married in March, he is planning a series of wedding celebrations this week, clearly unaffected by the scandal that has rocked Pakistan cricket. If anything, while some suggest that Asif is confident that all charges will be cleared, others believe this is an indulgence to bring in some good luck.
On the other hand, the actress and ex-girlfriend, Veena Mallik, who hogged the limelight by claiming she had evidence to nail Asif's association with bookies, is now stating that she is receiving death threats following her talk with the Pakistan Cricket Board and the ICC.
