The Sania Mirza-Shoaib Mallik wedding fiasco has barely died down, and along comes news of Mohammad Asif and an ex-girlfriend who he says is out to get him.

Asif claims that Veena Mallik stole two cheque amounting to 11.3 million dollars, and instead is claiming that the two cheques have bounced and that it is money Asif owes him.
But Asif has denied the allegations, saying he owes no one money since he has enough of his own and that Veena is angry with him because he married a girl that was chosen by his family for him.
The Pakistan fast bowler even had an interesting piece of advice for his former flame, "I don't owe her a single penny. Why should I need to take money from anyone? I am a professional cricketer and I earn well. Even when I was banned, I got payments from my IPL team. I would advise her to also get married as she is getting older now and should be dedicating her life to better things."
