The Australians arrive a confident lot after their ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in South Africa to make amends in India.

Ricky Ponting will arrive in India as the more confident Australian captain unlike a couple of years back when team India returned from a triumphant tour to South Africa for the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 while Australia were ruing their chances. Now it will interesting now that the foot is on the other foot.
But Australia will still have a few missing personnel. Michael Clarke continues to miss out with a back spasm. Nathan Bracken's knee injury has also ruled him out while Australia will miss Callum Ferguson with a knee injury while Brad Haddin's finger injury continues to keep him out as well. Stuart Clark does not find a place either.
The Australian team sees new prominent inclusions - Shaun Marsh returns to the place that won him his Australian spot, especially after his successful IPL stint with the Kings XI Punjab Mohali team coowned by Preity Zinta. Jon Holland, the orthodox left arm spinner, finds himself in the reckoning as well.
Tim Paine has done himself no harm thus far and a revved up Brett Lee back in India, the excitement is getting palpable.
