Australia's mountain of injury concerns continues to grow enormously with two more players on the radar and one of them in serious doubt for contention in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Australia may be inching ahead of England int he ODI series but when it comes to injuries, they appear to have caused a few worries for themselves.
Shaun Tait remained a huge concern after a thigh strain that has once again put the spotlight on the Australian fast bowler who has previously opted out of the game with injury breakdown and mental fatigue. Those concerns were raised once more of the speedster as he suffered the injury in the early part of the England Australia ODI series.
However, while Tait's injury is expected to be minor and recovery should not be a concern for the upcoming World Cup, Australia have concerns once more in the spin department. And it has to do with Nathan Hauritz who continues his streak of ill fortune over the summer.
Having been overlooked for the Test series, Hauritz was named in Australia's fifteen man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. But Hauritz dislocated his shoulder during the ODI series and will now require surgery which could put him out of the World Cup.
Australia are already on tenterhooks with Ricky Ponting recovering from a finger surgery and Michael Hussey in serious doubt with a hamstring surgery that could well put him out of the World Cup itself. The Australian selectors are facing a huge concern over whether to go ahead and name Shaun Marsh or hold their breath for Michael Hussey.
