Australia's tour of Bangladesh may not even happen next year. Blame it on the burst of Twenty20.

Australia are scheduled to tour Bangladesh following the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. However, there are concerns that the series may be scrapped even if not postponed. The reason for it? IPL 4.
That's right, the Indian domestic Twenty20 tournament that attracts leading cricketers from around the world with huge pay packets and an extravaganza of a cricket tournament is coming in the way of the series. And with the Bangladesh cricketers eying a piece of the pie as well, the decision to defer the series may actually be amenable to both teams.
Previously some of the Australian cricketers have expressed reservations about participating in the IPL for fear of a burn out due to an overcrowded schedule. However, it appears the lure of the Twenty20 tournament may be too much to pass up now that the Ashes will be done as also the ICC World Cup 2011 by the time the IPL 4 starts.
