The Hyderabad Deccan Chargers franchisees have handed over a legal notice to the BCCI and the IPL Governing council over the home matches of the IPL 3 being shifted out of Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam were set to host the matches, the former even scheduled for the IPL 3 opening ceremony, before the IPL decided to take the IPL out over the agitations in the state over the separate state of Telangana that has seen much bloodshed and riots.
The Andhra Pradesh government were not in favour of the move with the AP Sports Minister even insisting that the franchisee boycott IPL 3 in protest.
The franchisee claims the move is a breach of contract with the franchisees having an equal number of home games played at the regional venues as the away games.
