The two countries may not have the same opinion on any bilateral issue but India and Pakistan tend to have similar opinions when it comes to sports and that has been proved yet again.
Umpire Darrell Hair who was at the center of things... When the ball tampering controversy broke out at the Lords test that saw the Pakistanis walk of the field...Will not find a place for himself in the elite Panel of umpires for the Champions trophy scheduled to be held in India... Pakistan Cricket Board had already refused to accept Hair... Now even BCCI has refused for his candidature for umpiring in the Mini World Cup.
There may be nothing personal against the umpire... However, considering that he is encircled in controversies... And in the interest of the game, it would be better to keep Hair out of India... The ICC was to announce its panel of umpires for the Trophy but they have reserved the decision to be announced after Inzamam’s hearing... Now I think ICC will make sure that they do not consider Hair.

And rightfully so too. Hair is a disgrace to the game of cricket. He is a racist and ingnorant blight on the Elite Panel who maintain the highest ethical standards, even if their on-field performances are well below par at times.
Great blog mate, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the appreciation... ya it is immportant for the umpires to maintain the etical standards...Hair in the past also has been unbiased with the teams from the sub-continent, lets just hope he learns something from this conrovercy though his fate as an umpire is not yet reveled by the ICC... the umpires on the feild must make sure that they do not take their decisions in haste.
These days the umpiring has become the most suspected and controvercial due to some wrong reasons also. One point is there that umpiring should not be biased and maintain the ethical standards.
