Even as Harbhajan Singh is make headway by becoming the first Indian sportsman to license his name, he is also in the news once again for the wrong reasons.

Bhajji, as he is commonly known, has had to field uncomfortable questions over why he was not present for the Padma awards which Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also missed.
While speculation suggested that Indian cricketers were busy promoting their IPL teams before leaving for South Africa and involved in the ad making process, Bhajji has rubbished those claims.
Harbhajan Singh talked about the fact that India's long tour to New Zealand being quickly followed by the IPL 2 in South Africa gave little time for players to meet their families and spend quality time, which he says was exactly what he was doing that caused him to miss the Padma awards.
He further added that if he was found lying, that he would immediately retire from cricket!
