Johan Botha, who bowling was called suspect during the one day series against Australia in South Africa, faced a difficult time when he was cited for a second time in his career. This blow came at a time when he substituted for Graeme Smith in Australia as the South African captain to lead South Africa to a series victory and has been one of the chief protagonists of the series with his wicket taking ability.
But after undergoing mandatory testing in Australia, Botha's action has been cleared which is good news for South Africa's campaign for the ICC World Twenty20 championships in England. But he will not be able to bowl his doosra, the delivery that leaves the right hander.
