If everything goes well as coach Greg Chappell expects, Team India will resister a resounding victory in the test series. During the end part of the third days play, Irfan turned fierce for West Indies when he sent back their dashing opener Chris Gayle in the second innings. By the close of the day three, the hosts were 43/1 with Lara not out on 15 and Ganga batting on 24.



Resuming on the overnight innings 65/3, Chris Gayal and former skipper Chanderpaul shared 41 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Anil Kumble broke the partnership taking the wicket Gayal. Immediately, Chanderpaul took his way towards pavilion when Irfan trapped him leg before. Sehwag who struck amazing 180 runs form 190 balls claimed three lower order batsmen to restrict the Indies at 215 in the first innings.
