Sir Geoffrey Boycott had a lot of reflections on Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, the state of Pakistan cricket, and the Twenty20 overkill.

Sir Geoffrey Boycott slams "illiterate" politicians who have no insight into the game for the present situation that Pakistan cricket finds itself.
Boycott also blames some former Pakistan cricketers for running their own agendas in running down the present Pakistan team members such as Younis Khan who, he felt, was being unnecessarily targetted as being involved in match fixing. He felt Pakistan must accept that cricket is a game where winning and losing are part of the game.
Boycott also singled out Shahid Afridi as the best bowling all rounder in the one day format. He believes Afridi is a tough customer to attack when he is bowling. But he is not too impressed with his batting approach, stating that Afridi "cannot concentrate for more than three balls" and that if he doesn't score in two balls in succession, one can anticipate a stroke of impetuosity.
Boycott is also worried about the state of Twenty20. While he feels the BCCI introduced a novel concept in the IPL and deserve credit for it, he felt there was the case of too much of a good thing going around with other boards wanting to do their own thing.
