Even as the New Zealand wicket keeper is contemplating hanging his wicket keeping gloves, Brendon McCullum has expressed his thoughts on the changing, rather evolving, game.

McCullum fears the truly fast bowlers may become virtually extinct in Test cricket given that they now have the option of playing a four over Twenty20 match in something as lucrative as the IPL.
McCullum believes if that were the case, it would indeed be a huge disappointment for Test cricket that occupies a pedestal uniquely its own. Likewise he fears that with the advent of Twenty20 and its phenomenal growth, there are few backers for ODIs that could see a premature death.
At the moment, the Kolkata Knight Riders are desperately missing his big hitting services, though fellow New Zealand cricketer Shane Bond is doing his best with the ball.
