The jibes began even before the game started. Two robust individuals clashing on a cricket field cannot be a pretty side. Even as Australia's Shane Watson and England's Tim Bresnan got into a bit of a verbal tangle, Bresnan was almost caught fighting another foul mouthed battle.

Unimpressed by a fellow Twitter user's impression of his bulk issues, Bresnan launched a tirade against him, ""Don't mind my mates dishing it out, but who the *** are you. Crawl out of your basement. U ****."
Even before the England-Australia semi final in the ICC Champions Trophy at Centurion, South Africa, the internet battle caught the eye of the England coach, Andy Flower, and he was certainly not impressed.
While the diktat is not out yet on Twitter usage, it now appears one will come into effect in time. Only a couple of months back, Australia's Phil Hughes got into trouble when his manager leaked out that the opener was out of the Edgbaston Test even before Australia revealed their official line up.
While Flower has admitted that Bresnan has had his trouble with weight issues but it did not affect his fitness, he was less kind on his all rounder for his foul mouthed demeanour.
Bresnan issued an apology later.
