The Pakistan Cricket Board has a solution to raise finance. But the Pakistan senators are not in agreement.

The PCB Chairman, Ejaz Butt, suggested that the PCB could raise revenue if they decided to play a couple of series against India before the next Future Tours Programme (FTP) comes into effect in 2012. He estimates Pakistan could earn in the region of $90 million.
However, there was opposition from the Pakistan senators with Tariq Azeem stating that Pakistan could not maintain ties with Pakistan, "They humiliated us by not bidding for our players in the auction and we should not play against India," in reference to none of the Pakistan cricketers being picked in the IPL 3 auctions for the IPL 3 season.
