Guyana cannot seem to find a way to win a single match in the Champions League Twenty20 2010 in South Africa as the Highveld Lions embarrased them further with with a nine run victory that puts them in contention for a possible semi final spot.

Guyana kept struggling to push the issue, with not even one batsman able to come anywhere close to an innings of note. Only Steven Jacobs got as far as thirty-four and it seemed like a miracle that Guyana even reached 148 as Ethan O'Reilly returned with best figures of four for twenty-seven.
In response, the Lions were completely dominant with the bat. The Lions captain, Alviro Petersen, yet again played a sublime knock even as Richard Cameron took the assault to the hapless Guyana bowlers. Petersen's fifty-seven from thirty-eight balls was sheer class and timing, and emphasized what an understated cricketer he is, while Cameron was at his thunderous best, hammering six sixes en route to a forty-two ball seventy-eight. Not a single of the Guyana bowlers was shown mercy, and it only seemed fair in the end that the Lions wrapped up the game in style with the better part of five overs still remaining.
