If there has been a team with the candidacy to become the Champions League Twenty20 2010's biggest flops, it would have to be the Sri Lankan Twenty20 champion, Wayamba.

When the Victoria Bushrangers comepleted a win by eight wickets with forty balls still remaining in their innings, it only furthered the question marks raised over whether Wayamba had the necessary competitiveness to feature in the tournament.

Wayamba barely crossed the 100 mark and that was because of the efforts just two men, opener Mahela Jayawardene and the Wayamba Elevens captain, Jehan Mubarak.

Jayawardene scored a half century from forty balls while Mubarak forty-four from thirty runs in an innings that saw as many as six ducks! Peter Siddle bagged the most number of wickets at four while Australian hopeful, James Pattinson, picked up two, in a disastrous affair for the team from the Emerald Isles who were all out for 103 in seventeen overs.

In response, the in form Bushrangers had no problems, particularly with the hard hitting Aaron Finch who began the belligerent affair with thirty-eight runs as the Bushrangers captain, David Hussey rounded things off nicely with an unbeaten forty-seven from twenty-eight balls as Bushrangers finished the run chase in just 13.2 overs.
