The team is in trouble when the coach himself states he is fitter than the players and calls for questioning on their fitness levels and commitment attitude towards a major ICC tournament.

The Indian coach, Gary Kirsten, has apparently prepared a report for the BCCI on the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 that alludes to complaints regarding several Indian cricketers after having a one-on-one session with as many as seven Indian cricketers including the Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Kirsten spoke to Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma amongst others and has in particular referred to Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma saying he is fitter than the two Indian cricketers who he feels have no business being on the field.
He also expressed the view that the Indian cricketers seemed rather happy to sit back on the laurels on being the no.1 Test team and the no.2 ranked ODI team and therefore, not pushing further.
Kirsten also reported on the lines of a reported pub brawl involving certain Indian cricketers, that the Indian players were not only unfit but also, rather happy to party hard, wanting their own freedom and unwilling to be curbed or disciplined.
