The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) could become the latest owner of an IPL team. That is the buzz anyway.

Apparently encouraged by the British Asian Cup between the Middlesex and Rajasthan Royals last year, the MCC wants to have a share of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The MCC is apparently working out a way to be a part of the Twenty20 extravaganza, whether it is in hosting some of the matches at Lord's such as the one event off or actually buying one of the two new IPL teams for 2011 season of IPL 4.

Buzz or reality? Time will tell.
