In perhaps one of the biggest of IPL 4's changing dynamics, all of Shah Rukh Khan's attempts to keep the Sourav Ganguly connection with the Kolkata Knight Riders may come to naught as Dada begins stint with the Pune Warriors.

The Bollywood actor has been valiantly trying to win over Kolkata's crikcet fans who have been miffed by the KKR decision not to retain Sourav Ganguly for the IPL 4 season. With the former Indian captain feeling slighted over the fact that he was overlooked by all the franchisees at the IPL 4 auctions, the anger amongst the Kolkata fans has only grown.
Even as Shah Rukh Khan has made it his business to chant Dada's name on every KKR outing in the IPL 4 season, particularly so as the Eden Gardens venue, his words have hardly fallen on deaf ears. Now in an irony of sorts, the Kolkata fans may be rooting for another city altogether as Ganguly's new contract has him migrating with the Pune Warriors.
With the Pune Warriors v Kolkata Knight Riders match slated for the 19th of May, perhaps Shah Rukh Khan is fortunate in that the Pune Warriors did not play the KKR team at home after Ganguly joined the team. It could have been a sea of change with loyalties taking a toll. However, the Navi Mumbai could be an equally important humdinger, not from the context of the IPL 4 points table with KKR at the top and Pune Warriors licking wounds at the bottom, but for the sheer Kolkata equation between the two teams, it should be money's worth.
