Picturesque stadiums like this could lie barren because following the football World Cup in South Africa, cricket board and rugby union cannot see much use for them.

Lack of cohesive planning is being blamed for South Africa's over $one billion stadiums lying empty for want of use. The rugby unions and the South African cricket board, Cricket South Africa, feel they cannot use the stadiums for the facilities and the small grounds respectively.

There are now dissensions wherein the other popular sports organizations are claiming they were not consulted when planned the stadiums in the euphoria of having won the bid for the FIFA World Cup 2010.
Now the stadiums are lying empty and viable options are drying up fast.
