Pakistan leg spinner, Danesh Kaneria, has been arrested and released on bail by the Essex police on suspicion of spot fixing.

Kaneria had only a few days earlier stated he was considering suing after his name cropped up in the British media in relation to match fixing allegations in the Essex county cricket. It has now emerged that Kaneria was arrested and released on bail till the 15th of September along with fast bowler, Mervyn Westfield, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud.
Wonder what the next step of action will be apart from preparing a good defense counsel? Kaneria though can still play cricket because no charges have been brought against him.
