The Pakistan spinner is not amused about his name cropping up in a British tabloid for wrong reasons.

Danesh Kaneria does not like his name being brought up in relation to a match fixing scandal, especially when it involves a team he has committed himself to for the past seven years.
Kaneria says he is waiting for the investigations by the Essex police to complete before he will ask his lawyer to proceed with suing a British tabloid for naming him as one of the two Essex cricketers under investigation over match fixing allegations.
Kaneria feels Pakistan cricketers are "soft targets" whenever match fixing is referred to and he is none too pleased about it. Pakistan cricket has been rocked by scandals since the start of the year and Kaneria certainly does not want to be a part of that, even when playing for the England county cricket team.
