A day earlier Virender Sehwag accused the DDCA of nepotism and corruption. Now the DDCA claims it was the other way around.

Delhi District Cricket Association has responded to Sehwag's allegations that players were picked for the Delhi Ranji Trophy team on the basis on influence and not merit, with a dig of their own.
The DDCA claims that Sehwag has tried to induct his own cousin into the team by putting pressure. DDCA needs to give Sehwag the no objection certificate for Sehwag to move to Haryana as is alleged.
However, Sehwag denies ever trying to influence the selection committee to bring any brother or cousin on board with Chetan Chauhan endorsing Sehwag's stand.
