Dean Jones, former Australia Test and ODI cricketer, has once again courted controversy, this time with regard to his personal life.

Known as "Professor Deano" on a television network in India, this was the one time Jones failed to calculate the repercussions of a nine year affair with a flight attendant from Sydney.
With an Australian television network threatening to expose the matter, Dean Jones decided to preempt it by revealing that his affair had even yielded a love child, one that he was financially responsible for but one he had not seen.
Jones was previously at the centre of controversy when he made a comment off air about South Africa's Hashim Amla, saying "the terrorist has picked up another wicket", referring the batsman as a terrorist for his appearance, which is perfectly in accordance with Islamic law.
Victoria State's Father of the Year Council has not taken the matter lightly, taking away Jones' award as Father of the Year conferred on 2007 from him.
