The former Australian cricketer finds himself amidst a red hot battle between the Rajasthan Cricket Association ( RCA ) and Shane Warne. And his words have once again brought him under the radar, this time for criminal proceedings.

Shane Warne, the Rajasthan Royals captain, need not feel alone in that the RCA has decided to proceed with a criminal case against him. Keeping the former Australian legendary leg spinner company is Dean Jones who, it would appear, cannot help himself.
Dean Jones hosts a mini show within a sports segment on a news television show. As part of Professor Deano as has become his name tag for the show, Jones shows himself from the studious to the outrageously wacky. However, his one particular statement has riled the Rajasthan Cricket Association.
Following the ongoing dispute that ensued after Warne abused an official of the RCA after an IPL 4 match, Sanjay Dixit, in full view of the public, Jones made the comment that
The RCA should lick Shane Warne's feet
That comment has irked the RCA tremendously as they seek to proceed by slapping a criminal case against Jones.
For Jones, this would not be the first time that his on air comments have landed him in trouble. Jones was previously recorded on air as calling Hashim Amla, the South African batsman, a terrorist for his beard and religious conotation, in an obvious reference to Osama bin Laden, mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
That comment cost Jones his commentator job with Ten Sports and it will be interesting how matters are followed up going into the NDTV programming as well as Warne's own matter with the RCA.
