Virender Sehwag's claims against the DDCA have been backed by his Delhi Ranji and team India team mates who have threatened to follow suit.

Sehwag's charges of nepotism and corruption in the Delhi District Cricket Association have been backed by the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra and Ishant Sharma over what they believe are a lack of transparency in the selection process, picking players with influence, and in Nehra's case, he states he was completely ignored when injured but now everyone wants a slice of his success upon coming back into the Indian team.
The players have also stated they will not think twice if they were forced to leave the Delhi team.
