The problems at the DDCA (Delhi District Cricket Association) were becoming apparent as as many as seven players failed to turn up for the Delhi Ranji conditioning camp.

Virender Sehwag had alleged misappropriate handling at the DDCA and Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma and Ashish Nehra echoed his sentiment.
As it turned out Ishant Sharma, Gautam Gambhir and Delhi players such as Rajat Bhatia and Chetanya Nanda stayed from the camp, apparently in support of Sehwag who is at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.
Sehwag has also had support from DDCA Vice President, Chetan Chauhan, and former coach, Madan Lal.
