While Dhoni is saying Sachin Tendulkar's praise, former New Zealand captain Martin Crowe is warning the Indian skipper to keep his fast bowler in check.

Speaking of Tendulkar's inclusion in the Indian team, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni spoke about the effect Tendulkar has on the team, stating that Tendulkar is not only a valuable player as a batsman but a very influential team member in the dressing room, always willing to help and be around.
But Martin Crowe, who has worked with the Vijay Mallya owned Royal Challengers Bangalore, has a word of warning for Dhoni against the fast bowler, Zaheer Khan.
Crowe stated that Zaheer proved a handful for RCB skipper Rahul Dravid, dictating terms on many an occasion. He believes from what little he has seen of Zaheer under Dhoni, he is warning the Indian captain that he had better put his foot down before things get out of hand.
Quoting Crowe who was lending his voice to his columns and commentaries during the ongoing India New series, "One thing I noticed with the Indian team as I did with the Royal Challengers last year is that Zaheer Khan has quite a lot to say on the field. Zaheer became very dominating over Rahul last year through the IPL. It is not a crisis point, but a gentle reminder is needed that Zaheer is there to bowl and Dhoni to captain. Dhoni needs to be very careful with players like Zaheer who is getting too vocal and animated, otherwise it will start compromising with his own leadership."
Whether unsolicited help or the lines of a conspiracy theory, trying to undermine the relationship between a captain and his bowler, Crowe is making a bold remark. Wonder how the dressing room is taking it?
And was this also one of the reasons, other than Robin Uthappa being Bangalore lad, that Zaheer was traded?
