Dhoni Tells Sreesanth to Trouble Someone Else! (Will Ponting Do & Will Sreesanth Listen?)

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was perhaps reminding Sreesanth he will still on slippery turf and that his past encounter with Sachin Tendulkar was not forgotten even as India attempt to lift the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 for a second time.

The Indian captain knows he has two jobs ahead of him at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 - winning the trophy and managing Sreesanth. As ridiculous as that sounds at the international level, there are sometimes teams that need to be wary of their own team members and it appears a providential entry for Sreesanth can be a double edged sword for the team.

Sreesanth already showed the disturbing side to his talent when after a good spell of bowling, Sreesanth made sure he reminded the Australian captain, Ricky Ponting, of it during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 warm up. However, it was the manner in which he did that left people aghast despite knowing Sreesanth's inability to keep his behaviour under check.

For India despite his talent and deserving role, his disintegrating behaviour could undo the team and Dhoni chose to remind Sreesanth of the specific role he is supposed to be playing in the team and also, knowing how to unsettle the opposition without making his own team cringe at the prospect of the situation becoming embarrassing and getting out of hand.

If Sreesanth knows how the people have reacted to the Loser salute he gave Ponting, perhaps he can hold himself until the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
