Former Australian fast bowler, Jeff Thompson, has stated his scathing view of England's over dependence on Andrew Flintoff, his lost aura and the desperate selection calls doing the rounds.

Never one to mince words, Thompson picked his most stinging views to describe England in the ongoing Ashes.
Thompson slammed England's dependence on retiring cricketer and all rounder, Andrew Flintoff, stating that the Australians no longer feared Flintoff and therefore, even if England picked Flintoff for the fifth Test at the Oval upon losing the fourth Test at Headingley rather humiliatingly, he believes the England team are counting on lost resources and a "saviour on one leg."
Even as Allan Lamb was calling for more experienced cricketers to make up the England line up, Thompson was even more critical of the fact that the ECB was contemplating bringing back Surrey's thirty-nine year old Mark Ramprakash for the fifth Test of the Ashes at the Brit Oval.
He did not believe the Australians would be particularly worried about the inclusion of Ramprakash who has not played for England since 2002 stating that all that the England player could do was "dazzle with sequins and a few ballroom dance moves" obviously referring to Ramprakash's participation in a dance reality television show.
