England In Trouble over a Woman's Wet Clothes?

No, this is not a cheap attempt a la a Bollywood song and dance on a woman in the wet. Now it appears that the reason behind England's restless batting can be attributed to a lady who decided to wash her clothes with some rather dire consequences.

The England team was one amongst the many guests at the Raddison Hotel in Leeds to have been rudely woken up to fire alarms at 4.30 in the morning, the day on which the fourth Test at Headingley was scheduled to begin.

Rumour has it or not, apparently a lady left her washed clothes out to dry too close to a lamp shade and it eventually led to the clothes catching fire and forcing an emergency evacuation of the guests at the hotel.

Now is that why England batted so poorly and have found no rhythm to stop an Australian carnage and potential comeback in the Ashes unless there is a miracle yet for England?
