The Federation of International Cricketers Association (FICA) has dismissed the proposed FTP programme post 2012 and has demanded that the IPL and the Champions League Twenty20 be included in it.

The Champions League Twenty20 is yet to open its chapter at the time of posting this article but the FICA led by president Tim May has strongly rejected the Future Tours Programme (FTP) post 2012 stating that it was essentially an extension of the same.
Instead FICA wants legitimate windows for the Twenty20 programmes emanating from India and also, a world championship of Tests and ODIs to make it more relevant rather than discretionary bilateral tours, arbitrarily decided.
